The Norman helmet. The bowl comprised of two halves. It's hammered of 2mm steel. This product is welded. On request, I can do this model without welding (helmet hammered from a 1 piece of steel). Surface hammered and slighty polished, hemmering marks(*7).

Forged, hardened knife with sheath. Spring steel 50 hf. The handling is made of wood and impregnated. Overall lenght of the knife is about 37 cm. The blade at its thickest point is about 5 mm and at its widest point about 39 mm.

Spangenhelmet. Similar helmets are known of preserved originals from 6th century, but similar construction was used for another few hundred years. It is made of 2mm and 1,5mm thick steel. Hammered surface (*4). Product is not welded.




Gauntlets 27



Gauntlets, second half of 15th century. They are based on preserved original. Product is not welded. 1.5mm, 1.2mm, 1.0mm thick steel sheet. Surface is hammered, sanded and there are hammer marks left (*6), additionaly there are some file marks also. Product is non-welded.




Helmet 161, one piece



Helmet in style of "Phrygian hat" inspired by iconography of end of 12th century. It is made of one piece of steel 2,5mm thick. Product is not welded. Surface is hammered and sanded, there are hammer markings left (*6).




Helmet 164, one piece



Helmet crafted of one piece of steel. Used material is 2,0mm thick steel sheet. Cabasset, infantry helmet, 17th century, widespread in whole of Europe. This is price for its basic version - without cheeks covers, tube for feathers, and with the ordinary steel rivets. Steel covers for cheeks costs 30euro, fixing for feathers - 10euro. I can also replace steel rivets by brass rosettes for 1,5 euro per each. The whole is hammered, and then sanded and polished by hand(*2) + file marks. Product is non-welded.




Spearhead 7, C45 steel



Spearhead. It is made by hand of C45 steel, hardened. Total length is about 30cm, width of the blade around 4,5cm, casing diameter around 28mm. Blade edges are blunt, around 2mm. The weight is 390 gram. Considering processing by hand, individual item can differ a bit. Surface hammered, sanded, hammering marks (6*). Spearhead has welded blunt tip of 2cm in diameter.

Forkiet, C45 steel



Hammered elementss for assembling furket, 16th - 17th century. It is entirely made by hand of C45 steel. The length of the upper part is 18 cm, and the lower part 12 - 13 cm. Inner dimension of cornet is around 25 mm. Surface hammered, sanded, hammering marks (6*). This product is non-welded.

The elbow protection from the 14th century iconography. Made of 1.5mm thick steel. Surface is hammered and blackened with a bees wax (*5). This product is non-welded (made of one sheet of steel).

Helmet 157, one piece



A form of italian barbute, based on preserved bas-relief from year 1376. Deep bowl of the helmet indicates a high class of workshop in which it was made. On the same bas-relief one can find many of typical for that period bascinets (shallower). The bowl is made of one piece of 2,5 mm thick steel. Surface is hammered and sanded, there are hammer markings left (*6). Product is not welded.




Helmet 156



Similar helmets are known from preserved originals from 8th century. Basing on iconography one can assume that this type was used in even much later times as quite simple helmet used by not so wealthy ones. 2,0mm and 1,5mm thick steel. Hammered surface (*4). Product is non-welded.

Helmet 149



"Stromovka" - reconstruction of helmet from the lands of Great Moravia. There are 4 helmets of this type preserved, two in Stromovka, one in Gniazdow (Kievan Rus') and one in Bojná (Slovakia). Bojná exemplar has a nasal. Dating of this helmet accordingly to different sources: from 8th to 10th century. 2.0mm and 1.5mm thick steel. Hammered surface (*4). Product is not welded.
